I have come across a few grinder gremlins marks when stripping a blade and have seen a few extreme cases here on this forum.There are often marks left on the surface of the blade that are only visible after the coating is removed. They are a byproduct of our manufacturing process. They DO NOT affect the performance of the knife and are typically covered by the coating.

The only blades I have had experience with in A2 is the BRKT Bravo-1 and IIRC the CRK one piece were in A2. Great steel in those brands. I can just imagine how good it gets with Busse heat treat.I'm intrigued by A2. It must be one helluva steel.
I believe the Boss man said they never had a compliant one out of it. At any rate, I'm also really starting to dig Green and Black G10!
