i took the ferro rod loop off, as i have no use for it. the retention is great. came out nice....

Turned out great. A little leather treatment to darken it up and it'll match the handle beautifully.

thanks. i like the au-natural contast myself. but, i may at least hit 'er with a little conditioner. i got some Montana Pitch Blend coming, because i couldn't ignore the reviews any longer. :rolleyes: i'll probably test it out on a scrap piece and see how much it darkens after it's treated and dries back out.
