Much thanks!!!!Could I ask how it is heat treated, depending on your use.
I have messaged its mailbox to ask for these information, but KUNWU has replied by contacting their dealer, who apparently has no knowledge of the technical issues involvedKunwu Knives is quite new. I would be surprised if anyone had experience with their products yet.
Since they are in Yangjiang would it not be easier to find information about them over there?

Obviously, KUNWU has an unprofessional and undedicated customer service department. It makes things difficult
I mean I haven't beat on mine with a hammer or anything, but it seems plenty good in general edc tasks so far.Much thanks!!!!Could I ask how it is heat treated, depending on your use.
Google Translate translates the original as:大家好!
Not sure how this is any kind of mystery. It's listed right on their site: "Blade Material: Vanax HRC 60 to 61"What is the issue you are having? Or are you just looking for a HRC range on their Vanax? I find it odd they can’t (or won’t) give you a range.
I know they've consulted with Knives Switzerland in the past. Knives Switzerland is a genuine heat treat guru.Their facebook group includes updates from Kunwu management often and includes quite a bit of heat treat info. I think its a bit unfair to bash them without having tried one yourself.
Which is within Kunwu's published range: "Blade Material: ELMAX 60 to 62 HRC"Not vanax but Ive heard / read they are doing things correctly over there.
Kunwu Pulsar (Elmax)(Yes)V 3.47Cr 18.58Fe 76.54Ni .353Mo .922 60.3 HRC Elmax
This. Though I have not beat on my Padre yet, the reputation of the company in the community (in particular, as regards heat treatment) is good. 60-61 is great for Vanax, which maxes out around 62 (or perhaps even lower, depending on who/what you consult). If the production knives are matching the advertised range, it seems the positive reputation is well-deserved.Not sure why

That's the proper range for Vanax, AFAIK.
I think Kunwu takes heat treatment quite seriously. In my experience they also produce some of the best factory edges in the biz.
Wow!"Chinese spyderco" that's a really high ratin!!!!!Check Kunwu's instagram page, the owner's super active and super well loved over there. I've never owned a Kunwu, simply because when I found out about them I already "had too many knives", and can't really justify more. But, from appearances, they look kind of like a Chinese version of Spyderco. That is, they have a super colt following based on quality, and based on being really the only ones who are pushing heat treatment protocols and cool different ste
KUNWU is a quite new company.........You can go to visit their website. And you can find their address. They are actually located on Yangjiang。I live in CN GuangDong, closed to YangJiang, but I never heard a brand named kunwu,as far as I know, the Chinese always export the best, you may not need to care about quality.I own some US and CN knifes. In US,I love cpk,in CN,changlang and maxace are good choices,i use to test their zwear knife, which is sick!
It is said that Vannax is rather difficult to heat treat because of its high nitrogen content. So I was wondering if there's an electron microscope or a spectrum or something like that ,,,,,I know this may be too harsh, but only these instruments can make a definitive conclusion。This.
