About to step into the world of knife making need some advice.

I wish you well, Grizz, but as so many have said, you are going to have one heck oif a time making enough money to live on for at least a few years and maybe much longer if you are looking for a reasonably good income. You don't believe me? All the good tools, machines and tooling aids will certainly help, but developing better than just good knife styles, making them with acceptable materials for each knife , finding a market place and getting your prices up to an amount you can get by on is going to require many hours of dedication even with the fine learning Ed Fowler will pass along to you. As well a lot of knives are bought with expendable funds. Not much around for the last few years or in my opinion a few years to come. Even makers with good reputations are finding sales slow.
I offer you this, try to learn and try to make every knife you make better than the last one. By the way, did you read over all that good stuff the Count left? Frank
