I was looking at the BM 707 on your site. It notes that one of the models has a blade coated with BK1. The Benchmade site notes that coating also on that model but the make no mention of BK1 in their blade coatings listing. Do you know what BK1 is? Also, do you happen to have any photos of the 941BC1G ltd ed that have any better resolution? Or do I just need to wait for mine to arrive and photograph it? Thanks.

45Shooter/frsty50: Looks as if 707's and Gravitators are coming in serrated blades this week, best I've heard on the 635 so far is March.

jaiden: We've got the full line of NRA and HK knives on order, We'll most likely have pre-ordering online for those by the end of the week. (Waiting on a disk with some photos from Benchmade).
MarkMM: BK1 is Benchmade's new coating to replace BT2. There was more information on their Forum about this....but as their forums are currently down I can't give a link. The highest resolution pic I have of a 941BC1G is located here: http://www.benchmade.com/products/model_lgshot.asp?model=941BC1G If you want to take a high-res pic you won't have to wait long, these shipped out from the BM factory today, should arrive here early next week!

Can't tell about the BK1. The BM forum seems to be down right now. Thanks for the photo link on the 941 but it is an .ASP file and I can save it but none of my programs can open it. The best news is that the 941BC1G will be in next week.

I just got to play with a Gravitator at my local shop (it was serrated or I would have bought it). It was sweet! Very smooth. For all of you that own a 630 and like how it feels... you will love this one. It looked like it had phospher bronze washers, thick Ti frame lock with overlays. Very desireable knife.
