Remember we did a mortise tang on this to make the pins around the perimeter functional instead of cosmetic? The pins will be peened in after shaping.



There's two seams in there somewhere but you gotta know where they are and even then it's tricky.

Blackwood is great to work with, this is 400 grit hit with a quick 1200. First clean up to see where things are at.

I think a Sash style sheath is the only way to go with this one. Maybe try an inlay, something textured or maybe distressed?

This guy is fiiiinally ready for a sheath. Sash style with a stud seems fitting. I may try an inlay also.
