Anyone get an Andrew Demko 20.5 from Blade Show? What are your thoughts and which blade shape would you choose Clip Point or Shark Foot. Thanks. Kevin

I'm planning on picking up a Shark Foot. I've heard that there are plans for the 20.5 in different steels and that AUS10 was used so they could produce a bunch at a reasonable price for the initial batches. I'm going to try to wait it out. Personally I'm hoping for MagnaCut as Mr. Demko seemed pretty excited about it at Blade Show.

I've looked at them and liked what I saw. But, they are at the top of my price range and I prefer a longer blade.

Honestly, I like both blade shapes. Spear, clip, wharn/sheepsfoot are my top three. Btw, that shark foot looks like a wharncliffe to me ;) .

If I had to choose, I'd go classic clip point. I like a little belly to my blades for cutting but honestly, they both look great.

Without handling it do you think you could accidentally disengage the lock while cutting? Kevin

Zero chance, I'd say...it has to travel quite a ways back and then up a smidge to actually disengage.

If there is one thing Mr. Demko knows, it's locks. I haven't always been a fan of Cold Steel designs, but there is no denying they have had some of the absolute best locks in the business.
