Keith; thanks for posting that pic.
That knife was spec'd out for the owner with a walrus ivory handle, 1/2" nickle silver guard(he plans to get it engraved), and no external pins.
The blade is 10-1/2" long, 2-1/8" wide, and just a hair over 3/8" thick at the guard. lots of taper. The steel is 300 layer random damascus of O-1/L-6.
This is a dressed up "Chilkat" modeled after a competition knife I used at Batson's hammer-in. This knife turned out to be a devastating cutter. I had a lot of fun "testing" it before finnish.

Sad but true. I told him next time, call me, I will come over and trade him a case of beer for his computer. Seriously, that is a really nice looking bowie, I like the color pattern in the ivory and the damascus looks like a great pattern. Really nice work Adam.

Great looking knife, Adam. I'm sure its new owner will be very happy. I know I am. 
Didn't get a chance to make it to N. Florida this past weekend but did chop up some fallen branches from Katrina. That knife is one crazy chopper - Adam ... you the man!!!
Not to jump this thread but... Ari how did you make out from Katrina? No problems I hope... give me a call sometime. You need to see this bowie from Adam. It's Awesome! :thumbup:

Hi Mike, I meant to email you the other day, will try tonight, been a little hectic lately, luckily the storm didn't really hit us too badly though.
Congratulations on picking up this gorgeous bowie, and I most definitely want to see it in person, hell, when I read it wasn't sold yet, my little mental wheels started turning...(What can I sell...what can I sell...
