That's sweet! How long is it closed?

Looks like you had quite a productive time on yer edumakational trip!

Ah, I see, this is a regular Abbott and Costello routine.

OK, how about this....next time it's closed, see how long that is, please. :p

Okay Michael, got it. Its closed right now and its been closed for about 2 hours and I opened it......NOW! Hope than answered your question. If there is anything else you need to know, please dont be afraid to ask.

If anyones interested, The closed length is 3 11/16", open length is 6 3/8"

Excellent, that's about what I thought! 2 hours is a nice size!

One last question, "Whats on second?" As always, I'm interested in what you plan next.

Very impressive and that damascus is a real eye grabber. Right and tight.
The only thing I would add is to glaze in the long cracks in the ivory.

The stippling stops at the backspacer.

Thanks everyone for the comments:D
Theseare fun to make. This one is for my son for his tenth birthday. I hope he likes it. It might be a few more years before h appreciates it though.

Thanks again

Great looking Folder, I really appreciate you sharing it, I am sure that your son will treasure if forever.

You KNOW I'm going to tell you to regrind it and put a super thin edge on it to match such an EXTREMELY FINE piece of knife work....

But other than that, I think it's gorgeous.

I love the steel, the profile, the ivory.... the lines of this knife just work and work great.

Fantastic job Adam.... er....uh.... Michael. :D
