They pop up on Ebay and sometimes they pop up at a great price....

I also have a decent collection of multi-tools, which include several very early PSTs -

Again - these sometimes pop up on the bay and sometimes the person posting does not know how old or collectible the one posted really is. I picked up the hollow pivot Japan model very cheaply.

You do much better than I do with your one-tank trips, where you hit the pawn and antique shops, you have gotten some real gems there.

With the bay, you can set up keyword alerts when something is posted, and with your very early web habits that might work to your advantage. The issue with the bay as opposed to an in-person visit to a shop is that you don't see all the jewels lying NEXT to the thing you were alerted about, if you get my drift....

I am getting a lot more selective now and think about do I really need this new knife The fact that I have over 50 knives and do not know exactly how many I actually have makes me an addict. Little problem with guns and ammo as well.

Oh so many addictions it's getting hard to count! Knives are the worst. I've gone from counting them to just trying to guess how much the containers weigh! Still pick up a knife here and there but lately it's been watches. I'm up to 18 of them.

Also recently been enjoying cigars again but I don't really collect them. I like to light up a stogie when I grill, which is almost a daily ritual. I typically enjoy a glass or two of whiskey while I grill as well. Usually bourbon but, occasionally an Irish whiskey.

I can't really say I am addicted to anything at the moment.

But when I settle down and have a decent income, I will probably start acquiring, refurbishing and using old wood working tools. Especially old planes and chisels and such. Something about those old tools that is appealing to me.

I've got a nice Seiko titanium watch Connie bought me years ago when we had decent paychecks. It's sitting in a drawer, I don't wear it anymore, maybe I should start to.

Seiko is one of my favorite brands. I have three right now (2 SKXs and a Seiko 5). I'm going to Las Vegas soon and looking forward to visiting the Seiko store in an outlet mall I like there.

Orient is another one of my favorite brands (it's an offshoot of Seiko but, like Seiko, their movements are all made in house). I have a nice Orient Bambino dress watch and just picked up one of their dive watches.

I know I can look at my phone to see what time it is but I really enjoy wearing a real watch. Be careful though, it is addictive and the sky is the limit as far as cost goes.

Take that fine Seiko out in the daylight and enjoy it!

I have more Swiss Army knives than I want to admit too. I carry one every day no matter what else I’m carrying. Buck 110’s and full sized Trappers are hard for me to pass up and lately Stockmen patterns in the 3 1/4” to 3 5/8” have been piling up. Yeah I’m addicted.

No such thing as too many Swiss Army knives!

I have too many addictions, too! The first/worst is probably packs. If I went camping every day of the year and lived to be 100 years old I'd never be able to use them all. SAKs is a minor addiction for me, probably too many of them as well. Lastly I don't know why I have so many Mora knives, and given how many I already have I can't figure out why I keep getting more!:D

I don't think there is anyone more addicted to the blade than I am, all you have to do, is talk to the old woman! I started with Frontier Hunters, then just in time, before Schade closed their doors, I started collecting all of their knives! Problem is, that is just one of the things I collect! If it is a hobby, I've done it at one time or another! If it involves hunting, I have or will do it! Let's face it guys, men are hunters! It really doesn't matter what you hunt! Later!
