Admiral Steel shipping?

I ordered my 1084 and 15N20 from Kelly the last time I needed some for damascus. He cut it all to the same size for me (1-1/2" x 6"), so that I only had to grind off any mill scale, stack them and weld them. He didn't charge me for cutting them to size either. I don't know if he still does that, but he earned a customer for life when he did that for me!! He's a great guy!!!
 
WOW. I just went to order some steel. It was $58 for the steel and the shipping was $50!:eek: I sent them an email to see if something can be done. I have ordered from them in the past with great service so hopefully it can be worked out.
 
Hi Aldo, I tried emailing you through your profile, but I got a message saying you have receiving emails turned off? Basically, I just wanted to ask: how do i go about buying some of your steel??! =] Also, I am a newbie here, can anyone tell me how to send private messages?

you have to buy a basic or above membership to get private messaging.
I think it's $10 per year for the basic.
