Ads popping up on BF

Yep, same thing on my iPhone, but PC and Kindles are fine
 
yep. can't use mobile app or phone internet without this ad attack. they randomly pop up when ya click on any button.
 
Bladeforums is working great for me when I login I'm using an iphone and Safari browser to login and don't see any ads
I would logout and back in to see if it clears the problem if not try another browser or clear the cache history and login again
screenshoot doesn't look like an iphone maybe its an android issue or the browser you're using
 
That was weird... cleared up for me now.
I was afraid somehow I'd acquired a virus or something, but I'm relieved that it's a shared BF only phenomenon.

Spark Spark any idea what happened?
 
Isn't A.I. wonderful? Spark posted that he had some life issues to deal with so this crops up. We pester him to fix it instead of dealing with his own issues. Thank you Kevin for resolving it so quickly.
 
I was just curious if it was happening to anyone else, or was my phone hacked or something crazy. I knew if it was affecting BladeForums it would be resolved. I hope Kevin can take a vacation soon, he's carrying allot lately with the forum knife and everything in his daily life. Spark Spark slow down brother,go fishing or something 👍

Were you here between 0630-0700 Eastern, when the rest of us (including iPhone users) were experiencing the problem? I'd posted that the issue seemed to be resolved before you said things were good on your end.
 
No ads (yet) ... however, they will no doubt apear in the next month er so.
I figger when I get ads my Membership; Gold: dun expired/died again.
 
An ad blocker shouldn't be necessary here with a paid membership - unless something has changed recently.

I am getting ads in the side margins currently. Distracting, yes, but not the end of the world.

That might be true, but unless I'm mistaken, BF makes money off the ads.
If you're not going to pay for a membership, you pay the forum by subjecting yourself to ads.
Running an ad blocker means you've got no interest in supporting the forum.
Just food for thought.

I was not implying that they aren't annoying - just stating a fact that they are showing up for me, despite me being a paying member. It's not urgent enough for me to lose my marbles over but I still want to provide feedback to the owner here.
