Advantages of KMG/Bader-style over Coote?

Mr. Caffrey, thank you for the additional info about your platen design, that looks very versatile and just the sort of thing I had been thinking would be ideal.
 
I use the Coote--and I must say I like it better than the Grizzly, and it has served me well. But, it has its drawbacks and if you can afford it, the KMG is the way. The platen arrangement on the KMG/Bader is FAR superior to the Coote--as is the overall versatility.
