Adventures in Blade Land - PIC INTENSIVE

Congratulations OP, that is quite a haul! I would have had to take out a second mortgage on the house and sell one of my grandkids to be able to buy half of what you picked up. I had no idea physics paid so well or I would have paid more attention to it in school!

Quite a feeding frenzy! I'm glad I didn't get between you and the trough! My custom LMS matches your blue AD. I like the natural handles on those GWs also.

Damn OP... That's one heck of a HAUL!!!

My girlfriend loves a shopping frenzy too... good strategy! I will definitely bring her along if it's going to help me pull in a haul like that!!!

Congrats!!! some really great pieces to add to your collection.

Congrats with these new beauties OP. Those knives look fantastic:thumbup::cool:

I really love the two steelheart SE's.
If only I was able to attend the show, one of those steelhearts would have been my objective too......

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

That shark knife looking fighter...is truly killer....ifn ya ever decide you would like to maybe sell that ummm...id like it lots.

QUOTE "I really think my mid-sized hands are too small for this monster."

Send it to me! My porky hooves accomidate that beast very nicely:p

Awesome scores OP, Luckily Mrs OP gave ya some help;)

Man you've got some awesome scores! You make me jealous!!:p
Thnx for posting the pics.

So what do you think of your SFNO, now that you finally have one? I imagine grinding the double edge changes the balance a bit from the standard models. Is the handle more flat, or more magnum style, with an outward flare at each rivet?

OP,

Congrats on a great Blade '07 haul.
You have certainly earned your HOG status.
Cloven Hoof Salute to you my friend.

It doesn't! But...decades of saving, plus a working wife...and voila! Knives!!:D

Oh, I love it! Perhaps the balance is changed ... but only a bit. The handle is a little thicker than standard and is not flat -- it is contoured to fit my palm (and there is some flare at the rivets). The blade length is pretty close to idea for general tasks.

I would like to hit the woods and beat the snot of it. To date, its satin beauty has kept me from doing that...:o

Well...pretty darn good guess! But GravelFace got there first -- and correctly identified the steel, as well. RWH is also well aware of its provenance, having talked with the previous owner.

You're all smarter than me. I didn't know WHAT I was looking at, until the previous owner enlightened me. It's great to own a little piece of history.

Sadly, my acquisitive nature...honed at the trough...forces me to retain the item in question.

However, both Jason (GravelFace) and Raden do get bonus points!! I'm just not sure what to do about (with?) those points...yet!:D

But...there is a story behind the handle, does anyone know it?

PS...Love the SHa Variant.

Guys plesae remember that the SOW rules the pig pen - no HOG messes with the SOW (as some guys at the booth found out...)

Also I buy jewlery, so why shouldn't he buy what he likes. Yes, I do think the Wardens is a little odd - after all for most only the handle seems different - but not my call.

Awesome haul OP, good for you. In the pictures that were posted from Blade, you always looked so calm and placid. Who knew how cunning you really were? Your collection must have taken a big jump as you got home. Man, I feel so poor:grumpy:

I also managed to grab some toothy (flying?) Busses.
