Advertising knives and Commemorative knives

This is an Italian made knife for Cabelas Outfitters.

German made for Bayer pesticides

My one and only advert knife and my constant pocket companion.

Happy Sunday folks.

Best regards

Commemorative SAKs incl. a 100 Year Swiss Champ (disregard that rare, intact, long file climber on the bottom)

Love the SAK!
Yes the SAK has long been used as a gift, souvenir, business card. I used to work at an Outdoor Sporting Goods store that resold TSA confiscated knives. We literally had a fish bowl full of Classics, another full of Leatherman Micras and a case full of all kinds of knives especially SAKs. The owner bought them "by the pound".
The fish bowl full of classics was fun because so many of them had custom printing. We saw a ton of things like IBM, GE etc. We also saw a lot of Pharmaceuticals on them the best being one that say Viagra. I wish I bought that one now that I think of it. The only one I ever bought is the black one in the photo. I flipped it over and say, mine!

The Anchor Brewing Recruit was another great score. Given to my boss at the time. We sold beer and a distributor gave him the knife and when we got in the cab he said "here you go I know you want it". Turns out it was originally from the brewery gift to business friends.

The 2nd A knife is a Bantam. Here is the other side.

I forgot a couple.
The Cinch Stockman is a Boker and the Spartan was one of the many given away by Marlboro during the Marlboro Miles promotion in the 90's.

Nice thread. I've had some of those knives when I was a kid in the early Seventies......wish I still had them.

Here are a couple of the stars.

Th first is a Boker Tree Brand Congress commemorating coal miner's fight for the 8 hour day, I carry this one to work everyday:

and here's a very old Camillus Pen knife from the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago (my home town). It reads A Century Of Progress on one side and Chicago 1933 on the other.

This a knife commemorating the “John Morrow Nut and Screw Company” from Ingersoll, Ontario. The company is long since shut down but was in existence from the late 1800’s to 1970’s. Very detailed scales on this one and I think it was made in Solingen (hard to tell)? It’s a real beauty and the detail on the scales is amazing. I think they are brass but I’m not sure? It has the factory on one side and the types of wares the company made on the other (drill bits, screws). Two sharp blade well used, with blade play. Still snaps open and shut.
