This one advertises and was made for use with a product called 'Wood's Ship's Composition' Based on the flexible spatula attachment, I assume it was some kind of goo for plastering on boats maybe to cover cracks etc.

Is that ever a cool knife, s-k! I wonder if it was a promotional premium?? Or just some "free advertising":D!
 
Thanks waynorth. I don't know... I haven't found much about it. I know it is razor sharp having cut myself in the process of taking that photo.

This is a little advertising knife for a champagne company made in Germany c 1890s with ivory handle and 'dogbone' bolster.
