Advice on a 150$ folder

Best knife for $150 is the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Other notable knifes are the BM 940, ZT 562 and the BM Mini Barrage.

Yea bro Happy Bday.. There are a bunch of spyderco's with classy scales. How small do you want to go? You can never go wrong with any of them really. I do however prefer ones with a true jimped finger choil and thumb ramp. It just feels so nice to choke up on a spyderco with a choil so I will rarely buy one without it. Its amazing how they fit a choil into something small like this Dragonfly 2 with zdp-189 and Nishijin Glass scales. The most comfortable SMALL (but classy) EDC on the planet.

Small, classy, compact, and functional? Why not take a look at the Le Theirs Chambriard Compact?

Here it is compared with a Chaparral:

That Chambriard is incredible. THIS is why I enjoy recommendation threads- I didn't even know it existed and now it is on my list to pick up on a trip to France next month.

Glad to hear it! They are great knives.

They also have a Compagnon line that carries the same proportions, just sized up to a 3.5 inch blade.
