Affordable slicey hollow grinds?

Civivi makes many great knives with thin hollow ground. I like my rustic gent a lot. Kershaw skyline has good hollow ground, too.
They do! Love civivi for that. I picked up a shredder as recommended on here and holy crap it’s thin and slicy! Love it.
Also picked up a buck 110 and a kizer lan. The kizer is super interesting for its compound grind and very slicy! Highly recommend all of these!

It's sad that renowned makers, like BM for example, are not making such a nice grinds. But it looks like knifelovers start to like and looking for a thin, slicy knives, so maybe it will get better..

I feel it's necessary to take the knife apart before using the Dremel; at least, that's what i did.

Another vote for the WE knife family. My Vapor has a really nice hollow grind, and it's doing a great job on our tomato crop this Summer!

Been very interested in hollow grinds lately. I have the civivi exarch which I love, some case slip joints, and the spydie smock. Been looking at the 110, had one a long time ago.
Any other nice ones I’m missing? I like the look and flipper on the new we eidolon but the price is a little up there. Same with the spyderco swayback. That’s a beautiful knife.

Also, if anyone knows where i can get an ad10 with a hollow grind let me know! Or trade me for my flat grind one! :)
Civivi Shredder. The blade is like a straight razor.

W**mart still has the iconic Buck 110 for $34.47 at most stores and sometimes on their web site. That's a lot of hollow ground slicey goodness for $35.

Since everyone else has raised their price significantly, I think it won't last much longer!

Amen! But if the 110 has too much blade for your needs: there's always the 112.

$30 will get you one of my all-time favorite hollow grind knives - the Cold Steel Tuff Lite. Great handle shape and edge geometry make it a very powerful cutter - I use it frequently for leather work.

Douk-Douks are cheap, and have wicked thin hollow grinds.

My initial reaction was to take issue with this statement, which I missed when this thread was current. I had always thought of Douk-Douks as flat ground. Instead of going off half-cocked, I pulled my own example off the shelf and gave it a close look. By laying a straightedge across the blade and holding my mouth just right, I could just detect the tiniest sliver of a segment of light. The hollow is subtle, even more so than the convex grind of an Opinel.

I wonder how many nominally flat grinds are actually slightly hollow, like the bevels on a Mora.
