After all the Strider crap

i've had 2 AR's, a GB, a SmF and 2X SnGs, my current fav is my drop point digicam gen 6 SnG, great knives imho, if i was in the service i would carry a SmF or a SnG for all around use.

am gonna try a fixed blade soon too.

Ira, which one did you get? I have a few of their folders, and like 'em a lot. What I like about Strider folders, as opposed to other "folding pry bar" brands, is that the Striders actually cut. Damn well, too.

Hey, John Wylie, welcome (back?), it's been a while since we talked, nice to see you around (again?)

And Danbo, Rat's almost got the right idea, but I suggest carrying it around in your hand, with your hand stuffed in the posterior of a rotisserie chicken. Anyone looking at you funny will be entirely fixated on the chicken and will overlook the knife inside ;)

Perfect. But you would need a prissy cornish game hen for a Sebenza and a Fighting rooster for the AR right? :D

Sounds about right - now what about say carrying around a fixed blade about 8 inches or so - maybe a hollowed-out Honey-Baked Ham?

JTW, Jr.,

That's a sweet looking pocketknife you've got there. Have you talked to Allen since the last time we chatted online? Does his daughter need a new knife for her first birthday? I'm sure she'd love Uncle John's knife.

I haven't heard nothing from him except that one lonely email. Have you heard from him lately ? I will have no grind something out for his daughter really soon.

I love this knife , beefy and the contoured scales feel right , add the FerrK backspacer and this one will be buried with me , it does get used though.

Wow!

Damn lucky kids!

Very nice looking blades for some fine looking young men.

I sure hope they use them on a regular basis.

Fighting Rooster(Cock Fight)? I'll take a Andean Condor with a Hinderer Xm-18 shoved up its ass. Cock Fight-Game over!!!!

Code 3 , they dont get to use em ...yet. Boys are 3 , 6 and 13 ( going on 21 )... but they do get to handle them often.

Now if I could just get em to come in the shop and help me at the grinder , shape handles , stitch my sheaths....anything !! ;)

Awesome Bro knife.

I'm a poor SOB and have only bought one knife in the last five years... a Strider GB. I've beaten the crap out of it so badly that the angle between the grinds looks more rounded like an AR than a tanto now. My only complaint is that it mangles the hell out of pockets after a short while. If I lost this one, I'd buy another in a heartbeat. Totally satisfied... it's like a well worn pair of boots, just gets better with use.

Congrats on the purchase.

John, Terry's great - I think he may finally have the hot-rod-building demon out of his blood.

His email changed - drop me a line and I'll give it to you.

I have one standard Strider AR, one TAD AR, a gen 6 digicam ranger green SnG, and an old school hollow ground MFS in ATS34. By far the best knives I've ever owned.

JTW Jr.....Love the green AR and the backspacer...that's a lifer for sure...

forget scissors , my kids run with Striders :D
