I sent member walpur6isknight a couple of items on a trade deal .

I sent my end and the items were delivered on the 21st ,I have the tracking info.

I have recieved nothing back from walpur6isknight and all PM and the many emails I have sent remain 100% unanswered.

walpur6isknight is the member..full name and info will follow if I need to warn others further.

After many,many deals ...like in the over 500 range, across many boards with many very cool people..I finally may have been burned. :D

He could have gone bad. Or he could be out of touch for personal problems. If all this is within the last week or so, I'd give him a little time to get back to you.

If his computer has gone down, this may be the only way to reach him just now. He still should have sent out his end of the deals, but who knows what else could go wrong?
 
Me too. I will :foot: . I hope anyways. I do have to say I don't think he will burn us. His e-mails were all normal, no problems untill he got his knives. I hope he will do right, I think in the end he will pulll through for us. I will give him a few more days, than I'm not sure what else I can do? He has logged on lately? Makes me think and wonder why did he not answer my emails?

There are a lot of legit reasons why he MIGHT be out of touch. But we know that clear, complete communications are the best source of credibility. And if someone is moving, I would be surprised to find he didn't know that until days before the move. He could have said so, like, gimme a couple of days, I'll be out of touch, moving, I'll TRY to get my end of the trade out before I move. But it's way too soon to panic. :)
 
I sent out two knives to Walpur6isknight a week ago. He had agreed to send me the Delivery Confirmation number, but so far I have heard nothing.

I can't imagine that it would take this long, as he lives about four hours away. I have received knives from across the country in less time.
 
I just checked the USPS Delivery Confirmation number. My package was rerouted as well, and received this Monday (April 23)!

Walpur6isknight has been a member for a while, but I can see no evidence of knife trades up to this point. Suddenly, however, there have been a rash of suspicious trades...
 
3 trades with 3 different users and setting up deals elsewhere as recently as 3 days ago... while its worth giving people the benefit of the doubt, I have trouble believing that he was involved in this many trades all at the same time and somehow neglected to tell any of the involved parties that he was moving, on vacation or whatever else might have delayed his shipment.

Doesn't look good at all, IMO.
