And now we’re all laughing at you.Today’s sale was like hot sex for me…… I didn’t get any.
If you break it Nathan could probably turn it into a neck knifeI enjoyed today's sale. I scored a nice satin hollow ground fighter. I can't wait to pound it into a cinder block like Nathan does. #CPKwarranty
Which begs the question...If it ever fails for any reason short of intentionally breaking it I will replace or repair. Broken scales are replaced with a material of my choosing. Broken tips are repointed.
But my question was addressed to Nathan.Blues, it's a tool. In fact, it's the tool I'm using to build a cinder block bunker. That seems like normal, sane use to me.
Which begs the question...
Would pounding it into a cinder block, (just to see what the knife is capable of), be considered intentional breakage?
I can understand your doing it, to demonstrate what the knife is capable of...not so sure it makes sense for the rest of us outside of head to head comparisons by those inclined to do such testing.
I would absolutely love to partake in this!We should have a competition to see who can break a fireman's knife without using hydraulics etc.
Many apologies for posting twice this morning. I wasn't aware of the rule. I've consolidated the two posts into one. All the best and thanks for all you doGuys, a brief PSA:
Some of your fellow members are making reports to staff when multiple sales threads are posted by an individual to the CPK Sale Area on any particular day. You are only allowed one sale thread per exchange category in a 24 hour period. (This helps prevent multiple reports to staff based upon differing time zones.)
If you want to sell more than one item, then consolidate them into one thread so that we don't have to move one or more separate threads offline and force you to post them again the following day. You can either list them at the same time...or edit an existing thread to accomplish this.
Once it is reported to staff, we can't overlook it as it would then appear to be favoritism toward one or another member.
(Don't feel bad, someone even reported Nathan's posts in the maker's area yesterday but we've come up with a way to deal with that to make life easier for Jo and CPK accounting.)
Thanks for your cooperation.
(I posted this in "Random" as well to get as many eyes on it as possible, and prevent further issues.)
