After Sale Lounge

I don't even know what it is...though I've heard of it.

Spread out payments in installments.

ETA: recently one of these types of Cos went public (Klarna?). There are now quite a few of these secondary credit market players which have been "preying" on the consumers and when Jamie Dimen of JP Morgan Chase had mentioned "cockroaches" in the secondary credit markets, I kept thinking about these kinda outfits some of which I expect to be the SHTF types in 2026.

Those were the days. I wonder if anyone even still offers a 0 interest loan anymore.

FYI, Hyundai is currently offering 0% loans on some select 2025-2026 models OAC. Of course, these types of loans are string attached loans. However, since the current SOFR is 3.75%-4% and with the long term Treasury Bonds (30 years) being stubbornly above 4%, I would wager that we will not see any quantitative easing (QE) by the FED directed at the consumer sector. Any current QE by the FED is geared toward buying U.S Treasuries on the open bond market to provide more liquidity for the Federal Government in their checking account.

I followed that right up to the part where you wrote, "FYI".

That was funny, thank you for the laugh. The truth is that understanding money that flows in our federal government's system via the Federal Reserve Central Bank or FED can be a very complicated labyrinth for most common folks to fully grasp (not as much for states or local / municipalities as much because these entities do not own their own bank!). Almost all or let's be generous and say that most politicians either do not understand this system or just simply lie to score political points. I am not an economist so it took me a long time to understand the concept and the jargons and I am still learning; call it an amateur who is interested to have adequate knowledge to suss out for myself if the politicians are BS'ing, lying or simply clueless when they talk economics, fiscal policies, monetary policies, debts and deficits.

Funs subject, I'll leave it at that :D

It's been a "joy" having to follow the activities of our representatives more closely than usual over these past 6 weeks. I don't think these Senators considered how many dagger builds I have in progress when they recklessly voted to send us back to work.
If you'd consider them pincushions, you could display them properly. Oh, but I think it only fair you also include both sides of the House.

(Yes, sarcasm intended. But only insofar as the pincushion business. They all suck no matter how you divvy it up.)
