After Sale Lounge

My first issue back in the early 80's was a 2" Model 15 "Combat Masterpiece"...followed by a Model 36. (I owned a 2" blue steel Model 36 for years before stupidly trading it in at Lou's Gun Shop, (the "local cop shop for South FL LEOs), in 1995.)

The only revolver I still own is a 642-1...but it gets carried daily around home and close by.

I learned about Lou’s when I transferred to Miami in 1996. They were the only authorized Glock LEO dealer at the time.

I was dealing with them from the time I transferred to Miami in 1987 until I bought a shotgun shortly before I left for NC when I pulled the plug.
They always treated us well. (Our first Glocks, Gen 2 G19s we bought directly from Glock on an LE purchase order from my old group.)

I was in San Diego in 1992 and bought my first Glock 17 directly from Glock with the LE form. They sent it to me at our station address. When I transferred to Miami, they still had the direct purchase program, but it was so much faster to go to Lou’s. At that time, it seemed that Lou’s had at least a dozen of everything in stock. They always took care of us, and probably still do!

I know, right? Who 'needs' an 8" Shiv? I cannot pretend, even to myself, that I need all these many knives.

We just have a really strong covet.
Though, anointed with some garlic, it should work on zombies and vampires.

It's only a few weeks from All Hallows Eve...and I live in Transylvania County, of all places. I'm gonna have to get some special ammo from Nate and Jo to protect myself in the meantime.

We have a Transylvania county? Neat.

I just looked it up. We have a Transylvania county in North Carolina. I have lived in North Carolina over 40 years and I didn't know that.

...I did not attend the finest grade school...

It looks like Transylvania county has a population a little smaller than the town of Mooresville. Which I'm pretty sure is not the largest town in Iredell county. Which pales in comparison to our neighbor, Mecklenburg. This makes Transylvania a sparsely populated mountainous county. Probably has vampires and stuff too.

This little county of Transylvania has been here in North Carolina my entire life and I never knew it. I need to come out there sometime. I know a guy with some Laphroaig.

Transylvania county also has a blood bank near the hospital. Found this photo of the hospital but not the sign pointing to the blood bank. Pretty cool signage for this time of year as is this wrought iron address marker that we came across while driving around the outskirts of Hendersonville, NC:

It's also the only Transylvania County in the country to my knowledge.

(You are welcome anytime.)

Anyone have the address Transylvania 6-5000? 😂

If Tennessee Ernie Ford were a certain machinist...

You build 300 shivs and what do you get?
Another day older but no deeper in debt.
St. Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to Abby's college next Fall.

Not Jo but she usually starts contacting individuals by email on Monday, with that said she just got over the crud. I’d kind of look for the later part of the week.
I think she mentioned trying to reach out to the first forty or so folks on Monday (today). So, give her some time. And enjoy your last moments with those funds. 🤣

I’m sure Jo gets a thousand emails after a sale, can anyone tell me what the average time is for a notification to k
-Not Jo or anyone of importance-
But if you're referring to the Shiv pre-order I would suspect it may be a little while longer.
There was the 40 SDFK sale to deal with plus the fact the pre-order was supposed to be open for a week ( 🤣 )
I would expect it to be a little bit yet before any of us are contacted on that one.
If you have your choice dialed in, send your email and wait it out is the best advice I can give
