If most of us are being honest with ourselves, the hunt is the allure here. If we could just log on to a website and buy what we wanted the appeal would be somewhat lost. I’m here for the sport as much as the design, quality, and community. At the end of the day, many here have knife and/or gun collections that have a monetary value greater than the average American’s 401k. Not scoring in a weekly sale or two or three or four is an entirely different problem than what many are facing right now with the average grocery cart at Walmart costing almost $400 to fill. We’re all somewhat fortunate to have enough spare change to enjoy this hobby and should try to keep that in perspective.

Spare change? I've been volunteering for medical trials, selling non-essential body parts, and breaking bad to pay for my CPK addic....er...habit.

First World Problems = Dammit! I missed out on ANOTHER $XXX knife! My other $XXX knives just aren't enough.

You're right. Frustrating as it may be in the moment, perspective is important.

Most of you didn't realize that Dr. Joyce Brothers was a closet member of our community.

🤣

Shoulda ordered 3, for that 3rd arm. 😜
First trial I did, I was supposed to be inpatient for two weeks to test tolerability of an ulcerative colitis drug.

Turns out the drug was so tolerable and went through your body so quickly that it also had no effect on ulcerative colitis, so they stopped the study early. 😆
