AG Russell Acies frame lock

It looks like it might be pretty nice but I don't know if it will have as good of pivot design as Sebenzas with the bushings and crazy tight tolerances. Although it does have sone great features.
 
I just read through the other thread and apparently this has been covered in depth already.

And honestly, crk fanboys need to just STFU. If I wanted a seb, I'd buy one (and I have before).

The seb (and all crk's) are great knives. Great knives that have zero to do with this thread.

I guess comments are still welcome, but let's refrain from offring alternatives and stick to impressions of the knife itself.

Should have predicted that was going to happen. The second you mention the seb/strider in your original post (reguardless if you wernt directly comparing them) you should automatically assume the fanboys will be in here ranting and raving about the seb.
 
I like the pocket clip, thumbstud, and exotic choice of blade steel. Should be well made, and it certainly is pretty. It's a bit too big for my tastes however.
 
You equate the ag Russell knife to the Sebenza in price and then wonder if it is as good as. Good question. And you expect CRK fanboys to STFU. Really.

Looks more like a Brdley Alias, but then again they don't have the cult of blade fashionista's ready to swing nut from nut, just my two cents. If I was to spring that much bread for a working knife of distinction it would be for Sal Glessers masterpiece of the TiMili.

There is something about the AG that just doesn't look right, to me. Maybe its just the blade proportions to the grip?? No.

After a closer look I hate the polished clip and smallish pivot, too flashy and too small. It's all preference the stats on it sound really sexy though with the ZDP, Ti and a big belly on that blade.
 
It looks okay in the pictures.
I'd have to handle it in person to know if it was in the same category as CRK.
 
NDJeep, I realize you wouldn't have seen my post as you were writng yours, but please save the jerk-it smiley for W&C, not General Knife. Personal attacks shouldn't need a special reminder on BF anyway.
 
They are not available yet, I was told mine gets shipped Feb 11th, and I think I'm getting the 1st one?
