I recently purchased an AG Russell knife second hand. I had a question about it's condition that did not seem related to wear. AG said send it in which I did.

I received a replacement today which is much better and I am entirely satisfied!

I had to return a knife to AGR once, I felt the fit and finish was not up to par in relation to the price. I requested an exchange for another knife of the same price, and they sent it out quickly with no questions asked. Every dealer can have a problem or let a bad one slip through once in a while, it's how they deal with it that makes the difference. Never had a problem with A.G. Russell.
 
The only problem I've ever had with A.G. Russell was those damn catalogs they kept sending me. Too many cool things in those catalogs, and my wallet(not to mention my Wife) started to hate me. ;) :D :)
 
yeah, my wife definately does not like to see the AG Russell catalog in our mailbox.

AG Russell has a lot to teach the customer service departments of most companies. They oughtta open a school.......
