LOL, yeah the internal clock will start turning in the other direction soon. I was 75 when I was 33 too. Internally I'm much younger than that now....

Wasn’t planning to open this thread. I found myself here inadvertently after using my tablet to set my meds on while I took them out of their vials. As long as I’m here, might as well weigh in. I am 70, and not a lifelong knife nut. I just got that way over the last few years.

I'll be 30 in May. I've always had an interest in knives, but I didn't become active in knife research until about 7 years ago. I had a couple fantasy knives and a Buck Minilite as a little kid, and when I got a job I bought a cheap Gerber until it literally fell into three pieces in my hand. Spent a few more dollars on another low-range modern and used that for a few years. I started lurking around BF without a membership to look for suggestions on a new modern knife, and along with a modern, I bought my first traditional, a Buck 55. That was the last modern I bought.

I'll be 65 this month and yes it goes way too fast. I've had a knife in my pocket since I was 7 or 8, and have been buying more knives then I need since the '80s.

I had to check and see if I had posted in this thread 2.5 years ago.

60+ here , I'd like to say I feel 30 on the inside, but I don't, truth is the things I did at 30 scare me now and honestly were somewhat of an embarrassment as I think back

59 years that have been far better to me than I probably deserve. Good to see this thread get resurrected from time to time.
First knife I can remember owning was a little fixed blade that my Dad handed down to me. I was probably 10 or so and carried that knife on my belt whenever we went camping.

33 going on 12 (according to the lady of the house) here.

I've had a knife of some sort since I was 6 or 7. For years I only had two knives... cause why would you need any more than that?
I started acquiring more about 10 years ago or so.

LOL ain't that the truth. When I got married my parents were 45 and I thought they were "old". Now I'm 47 and that seems just plain stupid.
