Age Group?

56 and have had a pocket knife in my pocket since elementary school. Joined Blade Forums about 2 years back. Wish I had found this place sooner. I was over on the Fedora Lounge for many years but migrated over here.

Easier to ship, buy, resell and store pocket knives then broad brim hats. :-)

I participated in the creation and organization and delivery of a specific exclusive Akubra has for many members one year. Not quite a Blade Forum knife,,,,but close.

Will be 48 in 16 days, when I was a kid I carried an old timer then quit carrying any knife until a modern knife with a hole in the blade showed up on the scene...got tired of those and didn't carry another knife except for huntn until I discovered gec about 3 yrs. ago.
 
I’ll be 40 this year. Ever since 2000 till the day I pass the month I was born + the day + the last two digits of the year equal my age.

I have always had a knife of some kind since my grandfather taught me to clean a fish. I still have the floating fish knife he gave me.
 
I started hunting when I was 8 years old in 1963, and my dad's rule was always, "You kill it, you clean it." So I've been using knives for about 55 years. Here I am last year hunting the rain forest at 9,000 feet on Mauna Loa, The Big Island of Hawaii. I was fortunate to take a nice mouflon/black Hawaiian cross.

Hmm, 58 years old. Have always had and carried a knife. Can't remember not. Been making em now for about 14 years or so I guess.
