Age Group?

71 - soon to be 72 (August). My expiration date is fast approaching.

Just so this thread has something to do with knives, here's a pic of a Case Barlow

Fine Barlow that CASE you show Ed. You're the same age as Mick Jagger!

But these ages you all post are nothing and they certainly nail the myth of a Traditional being an old so and so's knife:cool:

Me?? They say as old as the hills...certainly feel it sometimes:D

Thanks, Crystal Methuselah

57. I've only been into knives as a hobby for the past 3 years or so. Prior to that time, all I had were these two, which I had purchased new back in 1979. Not counting an old swiss army knife I had when I was about 11 that I have no idea what happened to.

I also have (from that same era) a Gerber Mark II and a Gerber Bolt Action, but they don't fit the rules for this sub-forum. That was back from the days when Gerber = high quality knives.

59... hitting 60 in one month. My social security number is one.

They didn't teach history yet when I was in school.

No respect, no respect at all.

I've preferred traditionals for many years though.

49+ and counting.
My wealth is only this 3 generation shot

Left to right: Gramps, Pops and Mine.
Appears to be the final one.

54 and scrambling to find a way to retire in the next five years vs in nine years.
