I was a SHBA guy till I got a RMD and now I am a convert.
I'd take a RMD, INFIdu, or SWATmandu any day over the SHBA.
Glad I was able to score a SWATmandu in the GANZA but am still waiting for it to arrive.
And I have more RMD and variants than SHBA's now if that tells you anything.

This right here could be the biggest 'mandu endorsement yet! Coming straight from Mr. BadgerAttack himself...

So what did it for you? Is it the useable choil? Or perhaps the ridiculously comfortable handle that just seems to melt into every hand that it touches?


From what I remember of the last RMD I've handled (it's been a couple years), it was ridiculously comfortable. I'm not ashamed to admit that my favoritism towards the SHBA is largely rooted in two factors: 1 - not currently having any RMD or variation (until my SWATmandu arrives) and 2 - just look at the SHBA...they're perfect! ;)
 
Here's a couple comparison pic from a few years agon when I got my first RMD.
The RMD handle fits perfect, the slightly longer blade but same OAL and lighter weight make the RMD the winner for me.

+1 mobenz... That is the BEST looking Red/Black "DU" handle I've seen! I'm REALLY likeing the thick black line in the center of the scales. If I can get mine like that, I may have to change my handle request!!!

I should have followed everyone else's lead and snagged more than one. Did anyone get Tan micarta? I bet that looks sweet
 
Thanks for the compliments Stump! I too liked the red/black handle, but am a little underwhelmed with the blue/black. I have an SOB and an AMS with blue/black and to me they are much nicer than the blue/black on the Swat.

Also some of the sharpest Busses I've gotten. Beef rules! I've also got a Blk/Orange Fire sheath w/a fire steel ring coming from David Brown too. Can't wait.

That combination will make quite the visual statement!! I need to get a sheath from him ordered as well. You're a step ahead of me.
 
Here is my pair. I am really happy with both! I believe this is the first time yellow/black has been available on a 'Mandu variant, and it's AWESOME!!. I added liners too!













Might possibly be THE perfect knives!!! :eek:
 
You guys are making me wish I'd have picked g10.... And bought 7 of these beauties. Man. I'm kicking myself for not buying more of em.
