AHHHH!!!!! Problem after de-assisting my 586!

CelticCross74, did you even read the thread? Or did you just read the title and jump in with a long winded post? I AM sending it into Benchmade and they ARE going to fix it for no charge (awesome people:thumbup:).
Don't be afraid to send it to them in pieces in a bag? Uh, where have you been? I have a fully functional knife currently. But I'm going to send it in anyway to get replacement omega springs and have it looked at by the Benchmade professionals just to be sure everything's in order and put together properly. And yes, if you read literally two posts above yours, you'd see that Benchmade said they WOULD leave the AO out if I wanted them to So, yeah.... Please read the thread first before posting

Yup, it definately is. I am thoroughly shocked by how good benchmades customer service is.
That said, Im actually thinking that I might have to pass on their offer. I hate to say that after all thats happened and what i just posted earlier, but over the past two days, the springs have broken in and the knife is just about perfect now. Smooth and rock solid.
However, if one of the homemade springs does end up breaking, or some other problem arrises, I will definately take benchmade up on the offer. I dont feel like ever opening this knife again ;)

Krissig12,

If you send your 586 back mostly intact we will take a look at it and try to get it functioning again. We will specify if you want to leave the spring out, leave it out when you send the knife to us with a note. Thank you!

Badass! Another reason BM kicks butt.
