Playing around with AI, I asked it to generate an image of a variety of Tactical Folding Knives. Here are a couple that it generated.
Kind of interesting, I am sure that at some point people will be using AI to come up with ideas for new knife designs.

I'm more curious as to what AI would come up with if prompted to design a hunting, bushcraft or survival knife.

Many of the things it came up with for "tactical folder" look a lot like some of what is already out there.

Did it actually come up with some designs or did it just scan Ebay for pictures using "tactical knife" as a search parameter?

According to a recent Alan Turing Lecture A.I was taught with (& "devoured") the whole, complete internet...... Yes, every one of us taught it, every image you ever posted of a knife may have been used. 😮

Shorter versions are available! 😉

Most of what "creative" AI does for making images is just based on stealing other people's work. There's a reason authors and other artists are suing AI companies for "excessively sampling" of their work.

That AI appears to be a cyberpunk fan.
I was thinking the same thing. I guess the AI engine references thousands of images from across the internet and then interprets it into something. Apparently it is looking at the multitude of Budk, Pakistani knives, Gas station knives, etc. from across the web. It clearly had an influence on the images it develops. Funny how the computer interpretation comes up with features that are unusable, or in some cases unrecognizable. In playing around with it I have seen some weird stuff, spikey sawtooth objects on the end of a leather strap, etc.
