AK47 owners....ROLL CALL!!!!

i had a chance to buy them at retail when they first came out, but i just didn't have the money....i think it was right around $500.....

i feel kinda embarrassed because i think i overpayed for mine.....$860 shipping included....

They were $597 from BCS. I think they usually go for 700-900 on the exchange, and aluminum handled ones are somewhat rare and more expensive than the micarta versions.
I think $597 was very cheap for what it is though. If you wanted a similar sword from a custom maker you would probably have to pay several thousand dollars and even then it still wouldn't be as good as an AK.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL AKs men. How much did they retail for when you bought em and how much do they cost a man on the secondary market?? :(
I think they were $597 from the BCS. I got one of the last ones he had in stock.. Secondary market isn't too much more than that now, but there is a glut of INFI available...

Convex edge, tan coating has since been removed.

The 2007 Induction AK-47! PRICELESS...... Or, according to Jerry, it's worth ONE BILLION Dollars. But of course, this is my NOT for sale knife!

WOW. thats not bad at all. I was thinking around 800 at least. there is tons of INFI there for 597.

thanks for the info ikarus....i don't feel too bad now....

Some of them are priceless.

I have my "hand shaped" G-10, one with an aluminum handle and I've handled a plain micarta AK. I prefer the "hand shaped" handle, and I think Busse probably made fewer "hand shaped" than aluminum, they were only offered in one 'ganzaa.

I know that I will only part with my keeper if I have severe financial distress and someone sticks a big stack of money under my nose.

If I ever find another hand shaped for sale I will be very tempted.

I had a question. I can't recall off hand but what was the width on the AK blade?

Thanks mikey but I was looking for the width at its widest point before the choil and talon hole, not the thickness. I can't remember how wide it is but I believe it was under 1.5"....

Here are pics of my custom shop AK and my BANned AK with full-convex grind. They should tide me over until Busse makes another sword (about 10 years from now).

?? As in your INFI is not arriving? Or it arrived and says Made in China?

the seller provided me a tracking number that does not exists....this happens sometimes if the package was very recently shipped and the post office has not had a chance to enter it in the system.....however, my package was supposedly shipped friday morning 7:44am.....

the paypal account is under a female name....the seller in our emails is a male....extremely poor communication....

refers to this forum, but refuses to give his name......

should i list our emails???? i think i will.....give me a few minutes.....

Hope it turns out OK for you, New.

Some great AK's posted. Here's mine after the last refinish, with the bevel finally flattened out. It is a great brush/small tree cutter, and will still cut through a phone book. :D
