I just received my new Al Mar Nomad today. This is the first purchase I have made from New Graham Knives. I am very happy with my knife, and the little band-aide dispenser is really neat. Great prices from these guys. I got a black bladed model, which looks pretty cool. I bought a Mini Sere last year, and I love Al Mar knives. What a strong lock-up, as well as incredible quality. If you don't own an Al Mar you don't know what you are missing. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for I can assure you. I guess a Shiva would be my next Al Mar to go into my collection.

al mar's rock. been carrying a shrike for about a year as an edc work knife. its still goin strong no problems and even survived some diy mods! great action and the best liner lock ive ever seen. one of my favorite companies as well. too bad they arent more popular around here. -CB

Sounds like a great knife!

I just wanted to chime in and say that I've gotten a few knives from NewGraham, and they are AMAZING, perfect customer service and satisfaction every time

Couldn't agree more, about both NGK and Al Mar. I own about a dozen Al Mars, from the tiny Osprey, through the midsize SERE 2000 and Nomad (full auto conversion), the original SERE and mini SERE, up to the limited edition Shiva, and my favorite, an Al Mar Warrior. Love 'em all. Great man, great legacy.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to be as popular as some other manufacturers. I don't know why. The quality is excellent, and the designs are "cutting edge". Last fall I snapped the clip off my Mini Sere, by catching it on a chair in a sub shop. The gentleman from Al Mar, sent me another one at no charge. They sure treated me right. I am a customer for life.

How are the smaller knives? The little ones look pretty nice. I saw one with stag handle, mop, etc.

As good as the bigger knives. Great fit and finish, perfect function. My little Osprey rides on my keychain, hardly noticed, always available.
