Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying an Al Mar Knives Warrior 3103 on eBay and would like help confirming authenticity before purchasing.

Model: Warrior 3103
Markings: “Al Mar” logo + “Seki Japan”
Blade: satin finish
Handle: rubber/kraton style
Sheath: aftermarket Kydex (confirmed)
Box: included, may not match white boy with al mar sticker on the bottom right.

Important note:

The Al Mar logo is not red. It appears as a grey/black engraved logo marking, and we can find the seki-japan logo on the other side.
Since I cannot inspect it in person, I want to confirm whether the markings and overall finish look correct for an authentic Seki Japan production.

Does this match a genuine Al Mar Warrior 3103?
Is the black logo marking normal?
Any red flags I should check in the photos before buying?
Is there a possibility that it's a fake because the logo is black and not red ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

its the tactical elements shops old stock of parts find and assembled...its written in the description copied from what tactical elements said on them. one i saw for sale is way overpriced. these were selling for 305 dollars with leather sheath and box back in december 2025.....

im assuming I got the right listings.....i see 3 selling ag different prices all selling the same versions i mentioned at different prices and matches your description

These are grey area knives. The story goes that Tactical Elements, a known dealer lucked into an offer from the original subcontractor for a bunch of mostly finished knives and parts. They had them finished up, and they were marked with a new Al Mar stamp. New sheathes had to be made, because the original Shoemaker US made ones are out of production.

Mar had a different production deal with Sakai, etc..... to sell his knives in Japan, and they sold the older models long after his death, so they would probably have parts on hand, etc....., and various aging Japanese knife factories are selling off lots of things now. So I believe the story that they are Japanese made knives made from old parts, but they aren't really Al Mar knives in the truest sense of the term, and most collectors treat them that way.

yep agree. good for someone who wants one for a user....or just wants kinda but not exactly a real one without paying top top dollar and doesnt care about the collectability or resale value of it.
