Alabama Hills

My wife and camped there ONCE in 1969. I believe the camp ground was called Mt. Whitney Portal or something like that.* Mostly what I remember is that the wind never stopped blowing and it was cold in late April. There was no vegetation at all. No grass. No weeds. No nothing. The views, however, were spectacular.


*My memory ain't so good no more. I remember things that never happened.
