Man this Albers is a dang Shelf Princess. Hasn’t come off the shelf in a while…I’m hoping to give it a bunch of pocket time next week! Can't wait to see some patina Prince.![]()
As far as how quickly the knives sell out, I don't think there's anything I can do about that. It's mind boggling to me as well. The problem is I have 50 knives (actually 52 this time) at a time to sell and over 1500(!!) people on the notification list alone. That's not to mention word of mouth through Facebook, etc., so they're going to go fast regardless. I don't see an issue with multiples to flippers, etc though. In this batch there were only about three people who snagged two knives with Primble being one of them and he's already found a porcher to sell it to at cost, which I actually knew was his intention from the git-go since that's how he rolls. When you look at those numbers it's actually pretty impressive how many folks on this forum actually manage to get one. I do know, from what I've been reading here, that the notifications don't seem to be arriving at the same time. That's a bit annoying as they're all sent at once. I guess they snag in servers or what-not on the way through the web. The only thing I can do in addition to that is to send one out the day before, informing everyone of the drop time on the next day. Hopefully I don't wind up being delayed in the process and miss the drop myself or I might be drawn and quartered!

Thank you for the update, Eric, I really am looking forward to your Lambsfoot - I hope it becomes a regular release for you. Having more US made Lambsfoot knives would be an absolute delight.
Regarding how you conduct your releases, I don't think there is any method that is truly going to work better than what you currently do. A one-day heads up is a double edged sword - it is helpful perhaps to the few who have trouble with the notifications (myself included) but it also ensures that a far greater number of prospective buyers will get lined up at the trough come feeding time. If you think your knives sell fast now, just wait til you see how it is with a "scheduled" release...
I am looking forward to your future releases - namely the Lambsfoot, of course, and I am also hoping for a 2-blade Jack someday.
My Albers showed up and it’s worth every penny. This is on another level of quality! ThanksPrimble for reaching out and offering me up to purchase this great knife. No more whining from me lol. I definitely have a knife to carry up in Alaska for the wedding I’m going to!

I've had it in my pocket today BarrettI hope you enjoy it, Jack!
Haven’t posted this one yet (mostly because I hadn’t gotten around to taking any pics of it). The Corn Husk Raffir is really interesting!

No idea how I managed two in one drop, but you can mark it down as another non-flipper from the three Eric mentioned who got more than one. (I didn’t want to say anything before while my package was still on its way to Sheffield.)![]()
Thanks Jack! I'm really glad to see that you've gotten one and I'm honored to see that you're happy with it. Barrett that was an amazing gesture.
Eric
