I got an error I never have gotten before. It went live, I added to cart, tried to checkout, said ā€œCannot complete purchase in debut modeā€ and I deleted, added again, same error. Deleted, added again, ā€œcannot checkout in preview modeā€ then finally got the out of stock notification. šŸ˜‚
 
Been a while since I tried for one. Thought I was more prepared than ever, having all my information ducks in a row. Same disappointment lol, oh well.
 
Well, this sucks. I hung out on the Albers web site and at the exact hour (8:00 PM) I tried to get one of the Lambfoot knives. WTF?! Everything sold out. The site let me select a knife, put it in the cart and I tried to pay. No dice...sold out. I'm done with them.
 
I think that was my last attempt. Your knives are lovely, Eric, and I am delighted over your success. I think this confirms to me, personally, that custom projects are where my path leads.

I look forward to everyone's pictures. Hopefully at least a few were able to snag their first Albers.

At least I got one in my cart this time. This is the closest Iā€™ve gotten yet with a lambsfoot.
 
If you tried the link from his email that said almost here, that wasnā€™t the way to go. Spend a few seconds trying the link. Only to go to his main site, refresh, and was able to put one in the cart, then lost it during pay lol. I think I needed that few seconds wasted on the link.

I know Eric is doing what he can to accommodate but that email link may have thrown me off at the least.

Man, just not getting any luck with lambsfoots.

I believe it's more likely that the folks who already have some simply got more.
 
I refreshed the product page at 8 PM ET on the second. Put the ebony in my cart so fast I thought my keyboard was gonna smoke. Went to pay only to be informed that it was gone. LOL. Before 8:01 every cover was gone. How do people actually get these? I understand the demand is high and there were only 40 total knives butā€¦damn.
 
Wow, another incredible batch of knives!

I struck out again, Iā€™m 0 for 2 with the new notification format. Iā€™m ok with that, I had tremendous success for the first couple yearsā€™ releases.

The good news is that I rarely see any Albers knives for sale on the bay or on FB or on the exchange so hopefully the folks that are landing them are enjoying them.

This was my first Albers and I will be keeping forever. Landed the Stag. Super pumped. I've had a post in the WTB for a long time now and no one has reached out with one to sell. Hoping for more sawcut bone or mammoth in the near future so I can try to grab those as well.

I've only scored one Albers folder and one fixed blade with the random notification method. With the email letting everyone know the drop time, I have no chance.
