Hopefully someone else can answer. I got Gidge in a trade for a clip blade Albers.I really like the dark, chocolatey character of that Ringed Gidgee. Was that the same drop at the Afzelia Burl?
You can’t force a trade.
I've bought lots of things then when they arrived I didn’t like them as much as the pictures.
I much prefer trading to selling, mostly.
Wow, what an awesome example and match!Might as well post some pics here as well. Eric these came out real nice. Just the kind of snakewood I was hoping to see.

That is shocking only bought to profit,at least keep it a week and see if you like it.They are already on eBay for $550.

But I suspects these people aren't part of our community.
You have made me feel guilty about trading, which I have done loads of.that is part of the group of the people who force trades. Again no one has a gun to any ones head forcing a trade in the sense of the words, but its people who buy these things not for what they are, but to try to trade it into something they want whether it is money or other knives. they take it away from people who actually want them for wanting them. i feel you may have misunderstood my words the other day, as many misinterpret that statement. but unfortunately, the hobby of late, has been filling up with profiteering rubbish who do not genuinely want the knives for the knife itself.
Sure, I’ll oblige…Can we talk about something else?
A knife on ebay isnt for trading (selling is not trading) its for sale and profit.
Very good,if I tried that I would put the blade through my palm...Sure, I’ll oblige…
I’m a terribly unskilled whittler, but having fun tools at least makes me feel cool
This lambfoot blade shape is great for getting a block of basswood down to rough shape, and boy does this handle fit my hand well! The 62 can’t be beat for the fine work though, at least not by anything in my collection.

Great pair!

Thanks all for the kind comments. Eric has put together some fine knives. I enjoy seeing all the variations being posted here.Wow, what an awesome example and match!
Definitely some fall vibes in this photo, love it!
Doesn’t mean people are paying that. They are already on eBay for $550.
Eric just wants a well made American knife in the hands of knife people. Not a commodity to be flipped for a quick buck. But as with a lot of things in life, there are unintended consequences and greed, something out of the makers control. But your statement is very well expressed. Just my opinion. Have a good one.I don't believe Eric wants that for his knives either.
