I don’t own too many knives with wood handles, but I really like that one. I even learned a new term, “chatoyance!” It is definitely a favorite in my single blade lineup. Send Eric a DM and let him know you would like to see more of that wood in the future. I’m sure he would use it again if he has it available.

I’ve been blessed to have Eric make knives for me the past few years using the wood I found in the old Cattaraugus factory and all of them are top notch. I was lucky to have gotten one from Eric with dyed Wildebeest covers and man it’s a beauty. Finish is fantastic thanks Eric

Got some Arizona desert ironwood burl working it's way through the shop.

Still have some final shaping, buffing etc to do but the end is in sight.

No all doubles this time. Next batch will have some singles.

Cudgee they'll be a bit darker once they're polished. Kind of powdered with sawdust in those photos.
