Barrett, congratulations on scoring one, you are right about pictures never giving the full story, but i stated in an earlier post, Cork Oak just looks so smooth and silky, even in photos.Cork Oak. There’s some really cool chatoyance in the wood that just can’t be captured in pictures.
that Eric's Jack 2.0 is something else! These Cork Oaks are looking real nice!!
I am one generation behind on Eric's Knives!! I have given up on trying to get into the receiving line, but thanks toWalleyeBob , I have acquired an amazing Stag Jack from the last run!! - Thanks Bob!!!View attachment 1765047View attachment 1765048
I even managed an image without my Scanner!!! (R.I.P.)!!![]()

Sadly, I am in the same boat but he really makes some beautiful knives! That Cork Oak is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!! Congratulations to everyone who scored one of his knives.Sadly, I'll never own an Albers knife. I've tried everything I know to do to get knife release email notices, newsletters etc. And tried making an account on the Albers site.
I NEVER get an email and even if I did, I likely would never see it within 5min of arrival. So I'll just admire the wonderful Albers knives you guys and Eric share.
Congratulations to those who get their hands on one... Nice

Agreed! My first thought was I hope Barrett didn't drink all that wine just for the photo![]()
Thanks, Gus; and I miss those scratches too!!What a first Charlie !!
Enjoy in the greatest of health my friend
**Even though my favourite scratches of all time aren’t in there !!
Nice set mate, and as much as i really like the cork, that Bubinga is sure hard to beat. Thanks, guys! I stole the idea from myself.
The corks are in a large, bulbous glass jug with a very narrow opening, so the fun part is getting the knife out after taking the photo.
Meant to post this group shot yesterday. Top to bottom: “First 15” Bubinga, Catalina Cherry Burl and Cork Oak.

Oh my! This Lambfoot will be sweet.I'm super stoked that you guys are happy with the knives!! I always get a little case of butterflies after a batch goes out, never know if my handle choices might be duds or I might have missed something (like those rappers, ugh!!).
