I always have some "Gammeldansk" with me when I'm hiking or canoeing.

Few things beats the feeling of enjoying some Gammeldask after a long day when all work is done and the sleeping bag is waiting. I bring a small bottle for a week out. Do you guys bring anything?

If it is chilly out, I will bring some reme' martin cognac for the coffee, or if I go fishing/camping a celebration beer is a old tradition for the first fish that I catch

just some regular old knob creek for me. I keep it in a nifty new 12oz. nalgene flask though! :)

Port.
Generally a civilised after dinner drink, taken in small 2oz glasses, but equally palatable in 10 oz lots from a GI steel cup.:)

Always have a small flask of 18 year-old Glenmorangie. Love a good port, but don't want to carry the volume I would drink!

I like to take 'Lance Armstrongs'...2oz. quality vodka to 6oz. gatorade. You can drink and rehydrate at the same time! :)

An outstanding choice, my number two single malt after Highland Park.

I never considered port, the only times I drink it is late after a long restaurant dinner. But I can see how that would be something to bring, maybe next time.

Gatorade and Vodka....

I must confess that even on my solo weekend last summer, I was dropped off with a cooler full of beer and ice :o Not very hardcore, but hey, I'm out there to have fun! A flask of bourbon usually finds its way into my pack as well.

If I am out on the water in the boat or canoe I take a cooler with beer. During colder weather some good cheap sherry like Brights pale select will do, and if the budget allows a bottle of scotch.

I used to take a pewter flask of Yukon Jack but it now comes in a perfect half pint plastic bottle. Yu-Ja will keep you happy happy happy!!!!

Only tried the Port Wood (thanks to my gift certificate), hope to try that one soon.

I threw up all over myself on Yukon when I was 16... haven't touched it since! :o. You're right though, lots of regular drinkin' booze is in plastic pints and half-pints now, very handy. The Jim Beam one says "lightweight traveler" or something right on it, lol...

Port is a great drink in front of a good log fire on a cool night, indoors or out. Cockburn's Special Reserve is my usual as it's good enough to enjoy without worrying about the price.

My wife, Dawn, hated whisky until she tried my Glenmorangie. Trouble now is keeping her away from it when I splash out on a bottle!

Hey, I get up at the crack o' dawn and go hiking when I camp, so I can't be all wrung out in the morn. Hiking is my main reason for camping, and for a painless buzz vodka/gatorade is great!

When I'm out camping, i like to bring along a bottle of; Alberta Premium Rye Whiskey, a case of beer, usually moose head, and if we get adventuress a bottle of tequila.

If him just on a hike, i sometimes have a flask filled with Alberta Premium Rye Whiskey.

I've brought a flask of Chivas, and another of Baileys for morning coffee on layover days, but it always seems to lead to afternoon naps.
My buddy always brings Vodka and Tang or powdered Gatorade, I've tried both and there good.

Small flask of either beefeater/ johnny red. I try not to drink too much when I'm out. One time I threw my canoe paddle in the fire thinking it's wood!!

I'm all class, so i swill on a nice crisp 40 oz of Olde English malt likka!

Toss in a little Sunny D and enjoy the ghetto sunrise boooyyyy.

Actually, no, like Bufford i might go with cheap Sherry if not beer. Lakeport honey lager usually.
