All about Bucklites and Selector's & 110's & 112's LTs and Slims ...

Ya I like the 1st version and the third version much better than the 2nd one.
The picture of oregons with the drop and the clip, just confirms how much more I like a drop point also.

Beautiful 422 you have there. Is that a 1986 date symbol? Really looks unused to my sore eyes. Terrific photo and I hope to see more. Life is short so get some cutlery:)

I blame oregon for this:eek: :D

Now I want MORE!!! these earlyer versions are way more comfy in hand that the ones with the raised edge...

How would you compare the comfort of the old Bucklites with the current Ecolites?

I'm just stunned at how comfortable the Ecolite 112 is in the hand.

Thanx oregon, this one was used gently till dull, then never sharpened...thankfully there are those out there who don't know how to sharpen, and don't try:D
Blade was lightly re surfaced to get rid of small scratches... It'll do for now;)

The Ecolite has a slightly less "cramped" feel to me...they did a great job designing that handle shape...

Guys- I like really how my 422 and 426 feel in my hand, a lot!
And, fwiw, I could not stand the clip point. Now, I love it. lol!

Early 426 Bucklites, probably 1984 (year one for this model), one Drop Point blade and one Clip Point blade. Notice steel pins on the Clip Point 426 and brass pins on the Drop Point folder.

Thanks Oregon, for posting your pics of your two different Bucklites... I need to find one with steel pins for my collection and a drop point one...

Nice pictures by the way... Thanks again... ITE ...

I came across an old Bucklite with a quarter inch of the tip broken off and here's what I did with it...

There were very deep scratches in the blade and I've been working on polishing them out. I'm almost there but I've had to remove a considerable amount of steel.

Caseguy, thanks for sharing... Looks like you did a good job on it to me... Is it a 422 or a 426... ITE ...

Thanks for the compliment. It's the big one, 426.

I'm hoping to find some more knives with broken blades. Reshaping them is fun. I've done several of them in the last couple of years.

CG, so how do you like that 426 Bucklite... I use my 422 all the time... But i'm trying a different knife for Sept...

I hope you find some more Bucks to work on... ITE ... :)

Guys- I shud have my 426 today. I like a bigger folder but we'll see if the 426 bumps my 422.
