I bought a Kershaw Cryo I forget how many years ago and never thought about pocket knives again. Used constantly but never really thought about it or really paid much attention to it. It was just there to be used. Then the pocket clip broke. The only replacement clip I could find that fit was $25 + $5 shipping. $30. To put on a $32 knife. So I decided that it might be time for a new knife and started watching y**tube videos to get recommendations for a replacement. And you b*stards sucked me right in. I blame all of you. Who would have imagined that there is a whole group of people who are batshit crazy about pocket knives and that they have actual blade shows and gatherings. I didn't. So now on top of a Cryo with a broken clip I also have a Civivi Pintail, a SOG Terminus XR LTE, a Pro Tech Runt 5, a Pro Tech Malibu, and a Drop/Pro Tech Mordax on it's way. And that's IT. I won't buy anymore, I'm done. Unless they come out with a textured aluminum bronze Malibu, then I might consider it. Or I can find a SBR with the American Flag scales. Or maybe that Civivi Brigand with the brass scales that you can't find anymore. Or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass and can't admit that I'm hooked. Again, I blame you all. Thanks.

If I did......it would be my mother.
She bought my first knife. A Cub Scout knife and my second and third knife too.
Mom thought all young boys should have a pocket knife.
Especially a young boy that loved playing in the woods and would come home looking like a dirty little savage.
Mom was a great mother in ways I only realized later.......

Thanks to all. I did just go to Kershaw's site and requested a replacement clip. Thanks for the heads up Dergyll ! I had been to their site looking for parts but never thought about a warranty claim considering how long ago I got it and having no receipt. I'll hope for the best

5-1/2 years ago I lost my SOG Flash II and needed a replacement.
Found this place & Y-Tube, then subsequently a local retailer with a ZT 0450 well below MAP.

I was smoked from the start!

Now I have too many knives to carry and I like ‘em all too much to part with ‘em.

I tried a moratorium on new purchases which lasted about 18 months…This year that moratorium broke like a poorly built dam. “Lookout below!”
 
And I guess I am hooked pretty good. Gonna get a Drop/Ferrum Forge Gent for my son for Christmas. And a Boker Urban Trapper petite for his wife. They both have jobs where a big honking knife would be inappropriate, so I'm going with more discrete looking knives.

You do know Kershaw would send you the clip and screws free of charge right? Broke the clip on my zt 0566cf and sent an email and a few days later had a new clip.

Might want to go that route next time, unless you want to end up with ~100 knives like I have... All of mine have stock clips, BTW! Lol
