what is the excuse for selling blatant rip offs of the emerson Kerambits?

Sandi, it was a foolish thing to come to this forum with ripoffs of a respected makers knives and an expectation that you would be welcomed with open arms. You should have spent more time researching the prevailing attitude that the members here have towards companies that steal the designs of others. The vast majority here will pay the higher price rather than support theft.

First off, greetings and welcome to BF!
The problem everyone has if you don't get it already know is that all of us frown on fakes. The knife that you are selling comes from China and is a blatant rip-off of Emerson's Combat Karambit. There is no way around it. Anyone can purchase this $5 rip-off, dull the blade and dip it in Plasti-Dip. But we would never advertise it. In fact most of us would not even go about doing so because out of respect towards Ernest Emerson.
You upset member even more with your accidental ":jerkit:". I would suggest that you edit that post even if many of us saw it already so that others will not be offended. I know you already apologized for it, but I was offended myself until I scrolled down and saw your apology. Others may not scroll down though.
It is merely a suggestion, but I think you should halt your passaround. We are good guys here, and we wouldn't react so harshly if it wasn't something so offensive.
