from cori blade on their forum:
Well, we have tried to make this business work here in Maryland but it can't be done within the budget we have for the orders due to having to order all the supplies we need because they're not accessable to us where we are and to drive to get them or order them and pay for shipping is killing us financially so we are moving to the west coast, cross country so we can continue to produce and ship top quality knives and videos for all of our customers. It's not fair that you have to wait because we have to wait for supplies so we are moving to eliminate that problem so we can get the business back on track full time and keep all of our customers happy and satisfied as we like them to be. We sincerely appreciate your patience and hope you understand why this move is necessary for the business to survive and thrive. Wow moving cross country with 4 kids, this should be good!! Again, thanx everyone for the great attitudes and unlimited patience, it is not unappreciated so please don't think it is, have a great week!!!!!!!
in my humble opinion:
this has to be the most rediculous statement i have ever heard! moving clear across country to the opposite coast is cheaper than simply ordering supplies from knife supply companies?? moving your whole family across country is cheaper than ups or usps?? this is really laughable. what makers you know of "drive to get supplies"?? this is truly amazing to me that you and allen think people are actually this stupid! seems to me even a child could come up with a more believable excuse than this.
i was in chat the night allen showed up and was asked by several there who had ordered knives and allen acted like they were the *******s for asking him about the knives he had told them were about finished or "in the mail"! they asked nicely, just curious as to when they would get their knives when allen whined about not ever taking orders again and left. what a class act!
again from cori:
Phil,
It was stated that I am now doing the business part of this so why would Allen respond to any emails when you and everyone else was told to email the business and not his personal email address, so that makes you not bright since you can't follow directions. Allen did answer your latest attack against him and last I recall, your opinion wasn't asked for or required. You have more than once used this forum and others as a means to bash people and I'm telling you now, if you do it with me, I will take legal action and you will see I am not as patient when it comes to trouble makers. Grow up and conduct yourself like an adult!!!!!!!
this is how you treat people buying knives from your husband and doing artwork for him only as customers and friends trying to help him in his business?? hot damn! the knife business sure needs more people like you! NOT!! i truly hope someone takes legal action against you 2 for mail fraud as seen in this next example. seems like its always the crooks that whine the loudest about legal action and sueing people. agin just my opinion.

[quote[Cori,
I have not received a reply to the last email I sent you, so I feel justified in taking this into a public forum. In Jan. of this year I asked Allen if he would replace a handle on a knife with a micarta one (a Busse #9). Allen agreed to do so at a reasonable price and wrote that it would only take him "a couple of days" to complete the project. I sent him the knife via USPS w/ delivery confirmation along with a USPS money order and the knife was delivered to him two days later. (I still have the MO reciept and Confirmation slips in my records) I have still not received my knife back after nine months. I have written to Cori and Allen via email several times (over 30), in the emails that were answered I was promised a delivery date several times, and I have still not received my knife back. IF you care to dispute any of this I have ALL of the emails, money order reciepts and delivery confirmation slips. You have my address, phone number and email. If I do not receive some form of communication from you I will file a criminal complaint with the United States Postal Inspectors for mail fraud (delivery was
through the USPS as was the Money Order) as well as the Michigan State and U.S. Attornery General's
Office for internet fraud and violations of consumer protection laws. I want my knife back. If you have not completed the work on, ship it back along with a full refund.

cori's response...
Chad,
I sincerely thank you for the posting and for showing that tostesterone is still in full force with you, nice display of machoism. I see how the game is played now Chad, as long as I did what YOU felt I should be doing and when I should do it according to YOU, you said what an asset I was but now because I didn't answer an email when YOU feel I should have, you post the above, well for your information, the knife was just sent back to you with the money order inside and to protect me and my name, you have to sign for it or you don't get it so I have proof you got it. I will truly enjoy reading your LAST post on this forum until I delete it due to boredom of looking at it, keep an eye on the mail.

again in my opinion...
gee what a caring response to a customer that sent you money in advance even. seems like the only game is you and allen screwing customers that are only trying to help your business. as soon as anyone makes a legitimate complaint you insult them and just further show what lying thieves you are! gee no wonder you have financial problems.
to allen and cori...
with people like you in this business and see this kind of crap i am ashamed to be in this business myself. it seems now matter where one goes there always has to be the few rotten apples that try their best to spoil the crop. i have spent over 23 years trying to be honest with my customers and treat them as i want to be treated. after all without them where would we be?? over the years i have seen makers gouge the richer collectors and virtually drive them away from buying anymore knives and it truly burns my ass! and i am sure cori and allen will be the first to start the insulting and whining, but never first to admit they did any wrong. how sad.
to all reading this...this has been brought up and confirmed by many people that have dealt with allen blade and now his partner cori. Rob Simonich wrote about it before. if anyone still does business with these people after reading all this, then they deserve the screwing they get. i can hardly wait to see what insults she has for me now but i really would like answers to my questions about her first statement about moveing from necessity. she will probly want to sue me too but i believe as an american i still am entitled to my opinion.
i am sure many will think me as uppity again wanting to be the knife police, but to the buyers we have lost because of people like this and the sales lost to other makers from the people that have been screwed and drove away from knife buying, maybe we do need some knife police!
