Almost Ready To Ship - 2013

Love that custom Stur, grats. Nice blade shape. John did a great job for ya!

And the handle on that Tool is amazing. That ironwood is beautiful and I love the shape. Congrats SB!

It's kind of funny - I've been checking this thread regularly to see the customs, (mine especially, ha ha), but now I'm trying to prevent myself from seeing the picture and letting the suspense / anticipation build; I'll just try to go with comments HWF and SaintlyBrees and know I won't be disappointed!

Got mine today, and this thing is awsome! John, you do fantastic work.

I likely won't get mine until the first of the week. :(

Living in the middle of nowhere, we get deliveries by a contract individual instead of the postal service. USPS marks it delivered when they hand it off to that contact person. Then I get it one to two days later. Ain't fair. But it is one of the many give-and-takes that we go through to live in the mountains. In the long run, it is worth it.

John is getting some incredible ironwood lately. It makes me really jealous of you guys.
Nice work John.

Got "The Tool" in today. I'm impressed. Great feel, perfect weight, nice balance. Outstanding work. Anyone reading this who might be interested in a 5" drop point blade that is very comfortable to work with, should seriously consider this knife. I love mine.

I'll try to get some pics later today or tomorrow. Raining and seriously overcast, so decent lighting is hard to come by. When it clears up, I'll try to get a good picture in the sun.

One thing that I haven't seen anyone talk about is John's sheaths. The sheath that he sent me is very nice. Not fancy, but a solid piece or work - which is exactly what I prefer. :)

Oh - and I got everything else, too, John. Thank you for that as well. Both the 500 & the ZT0360 are very nice. I knew what to expect with the 500, but I had never had my hands on a 0360 before. Nice, sturdy, tank of a knife. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I just missed out on getting that 0121 that you were selling at the same time. I would have bought both. In fact, I wound up buying an 0121 from kershawguy a day or two later. That is a very nice small, fixed blade. No doubt that it will get a lot less work now that I have the Tool. The small piece of scrap ironwood will work perfectly for a top for a fire starter.

So, thank you John. You have another very satisfied, very pleased customer.
