Almost Ready To Ship 2014

Rule #9 for RayseM, in customer supplied wood.

My first JK knife in hand today - The outstanding in its class Rule #9 . It is absolutely as great looking in person as it it in the photo and most pleasing to me is that it fits my hand perfectly.

Excellent craftsmanship John. A real treasure for me. I'll post more photos when I get the sheath made (that could be September) but I'm very motivated to do it sooner so that I can carry this splendid knife. Thanks very much John for your stellar handwork and to protourist for an exceptional design.

Congrats Ray.
That's the first non black handled R9 IIRC & it looks great!
Looking forward to the sheath pics.

I heard that there is a new Rule Number 9 coming out with a very traditional JK scale treatement and a couple of modifications to suit the new owner.....

I wonder if it'll have a thumb ramp?

No thumb ramp. It will have a rounded spine, however....

Two old models, the EDC and Baby Kephart, both in green canvas micarta.

Rule #9 in torched oak with black liners.

She turned out beautiful!!!

John - just what I envisioned - I don't know but you must read minds -

Mack - I asked John to round the spine and then also eliminate the choil - make the blade come all the way back -

thanks John!!
