Greetings, FighterP:
I echo all of the positive experiences from all three dealers. Among many purchases from KnifeWorks, once I was sent a Sebenza with scratches on it. No biggie, I contacted them about it and they treated me as if I were a big deal and as if the issue were a big deal and sent me a replacement immediately. I was blown away by their quick and kind customer service.
Among several purchases from The Knife Connection, I bought an ESEE 3 with a set of their custom handles. I thought they sent me the wrong screws but I was wrong. Dale promptly called me back and asked if I happened to put the longer pair of screws in the slots on the narrower part of the contoured handles. Oops, that's why the shorter screws wouldn't fit in the other slot! I was grateful for his speedy and exceedingly patient and kind response to my idiocy.
I've never contacted Knives Ship Free but have bought stuff from them and have been happy with every transaction.
In general I'm very impressed by the service of every knife and gear company I've bought from except for one, and I can give this unnamed one the benefit of the doubt and assume that the guy was just having a bad day. A great industry as a whole in my experience.
Cheers,
Isaeus
