(Hint...it's the bottom one)

Jealous! Looks like I will have to wait and get lucky on one of those or that Blue G-10 Jasmine framelock Ray just talked me into. Oh well. If you ever see one, get a hold of me!! Cheers. She's a beauty.

No, I wish! I have to wait to score it on the exchange or when he sells one the way he does it. I have to be at the right place at the right time. Oh well. So, like I said, if you see one. Get my attention! ;)

Calavera Cutlery makes an all Ti frame lock (El Patron), D2 steel. Looks like a very nice alternative to the Sebenza, they offer it in two different sizes as well.

A big + 1 on Calavera Cutlery's "El Patron " Ti Framelocks.... Jeremy is a great guy to deal with, great little blade, flies right open and solid as can be. Met him at the Costa Mesa Gun and knife show. If I hadn't stocked up on so much ammo, I would have picked one up

Yes, I met Jeremy of Calavera Cutlery at the Pasadena Knife Expo a couple of months ago. He makes great knives and he's also a really nice guy.

His stuff looks amazing. He will hopefully catch fire. Just not my style. Humble guys like you are a breath of fresh air. It pays to be nice.

Man oh man, that smaller version of the el patron looks amazing!! And only $310 for a full on custom ti framelock!! I'd prefer something other than d2 but other than that it looks like an excellent deal.

Off topic but please tell me why you prefer something other than D2. Thanks.

For the same reason I actually prefer vg10 to s30v. I like a very fine, polished edge. D2 seems to prefer a toothier edge in comparison to some other high end steels and sharpening it seems to be more effort than the results are worth. I don't mind touching up my edges on a regular basis so holding a "working edge" for a long time doesn't have as much lure to me as it may to some people. D2, like s30v is kind of a working edge steel. If I could choose I would have m390 in all of my folders regardless of the cost increase associated with super steels simply for the fact that it takes and holds an extremely fine edge. I have nothing against d2, it just isn't my favorite on a small folding knife.
